Active Splitter Products

The A.R.G 2104 and 2105 are very similar units that function as active Distribution Amplifiers and are designed to operate at 139.264 and 155.520 Mbps (2104) and 34.368 and 44.736Mbps (2105).

They both have four modules internally each with one 75Ω input and three independent 75Ω outputs which enable them to be configured as

a) Four independent one input with three outputs amplifiers

b) Two independent one input and five outputs amplifiers

c) One input with nine outputs amplifier

The input and output connections are by BNC connectors and the inputs and outputs are designed to comply with G.703 requirements. The A.R.G 2104 and 2105 will work with signal amplitudes from full level to monitor point level without degradation of the signal and the input and outputs are protected by K12 protection devices.

2104:

The ARG 2104 unit, is compliant with the appropriate sections of the ITU-T G.703 specifications and can provide the following features:

• 2U rack mount unit
• Can handle either E4 G.703 140Mbps and STM-1 155Mbps Input
• 3 Duplicated signals of full strength 140Mbps or 155Mbps
• Single auto ranging power supply
• LED indicators for power supply operation/alarm
• Power Switch
• Two year warranty as standard
• Outputs can be connected to inputs to create a greater number of outputs

2105:

The ARG 2105 34 Mbps G.703 DA is compliant with the appropriate sections of the BSEN 60950 and ITU-T G.703 specifications and can provide the following features:

• 2U rack mount unit
• Can handle either E3 G.703 34Mbps or DS3 45Mbps Input
• 3 Duplicated signals of full strength HDB3 34Mbps or 45Mbps
• Single auto ranging power supply
• LED indicators for power supply operation/alarm
• Power switch
• Two year warranty as standard
• Outputs can be connected to inputs to create a greater number of outputs
