Returns and Calibration Procedure
If you should need to send your unit to A.R.G for a repair or a re-calibration please follow the recommended procedure below, otherwise you may risk the unit being returned to you:
- Please inform A.R.G that you will be returning a unit and also obtain the A.R.G DHL account number. An estimate for shipping costs can be provided at this point.
- Box up the unit securely, (please note that the shipping cost is charged by volumetric weight).
Ensure that you include a nil value purchase order stating the unit is for temporary import, full fault report (if faulty) and clearly written delivery and invoice addresses, with full contact details. - Upon receipt of your unit:
For non-account holders:
We will issue you with a Request for Payment. This amount will need to be paid (cleared into our bank account) before work commences and we can ship the unit back to you. - Please take note of the customs information below
Further information:
If you want to use your own shipping account, please ensure that it is clearly marked with the shipping agent and the account number on the Purchase Order.
Please also note that you will be charged for any customs or delivery costs incurred due to incorrect paperwork.
Any charges incurred through using Freight Forwarders (i.e. handling, delivery and customs costs) will be charged back to the customer.
If no paperwork is received with the unit, the unit will be returned without any work being carried out. Incorrect paperwork may also result in the unit being returned.
If you require A.R.G to complete additional paperwork for chosen couriers/shipping agents a £50.00GBP charge will be applicable.
